Island hopping Korčula, Croatia.

Updated: Feb 17, 2019

There are many small islands just off of the beautiful Croatian sea, each one is magnificent in their own right but allow me to introduce the stunning, Croatian island of Korčula.

During our stay in Split we decided to book a day trip to the small island of Korčula. Travelling to Korčula was extremely simple and especially relaxing as we sat comfortably on a large ferry to the island. Altogether we were travelling for approximately an hour, before we arrived to one of the most beautiful sights that I have ever seen. The golden sun shone down on the incredibly blue sea filled with an array of different sized and coloured boats filled with locals celebrating and enjoying their beautiful island. Korčula really must be visited to understand how beautiful the island truly is.

Korčula is full of shops, restaurants, bars and museums (including the Marco Polo museum). It is also an island full of experiences and activities with a variety of tours and boat hires being available from the seafront. I would highly recommend at least a day trip to Korčula although there is enough activities, bars and restaurant to keep you and the family entertained for a couple of nights on the island during your Croatia travels. You will not be short of things to do on this wonderful island.
