I have currently visited 27 countries and as you can imagine, I have accumulated a lot of pictures over the years. Here, I share with you all my top 10 pictures from places that I have visited... so far!
1.) Krka National Park - Split, Croatia
This is one of my favourite pictures and shows the beauty of the national park with this stunning famous waterfall.
2.) Arthur's Seat - Edinburgh, Scotland
The view from popular Arthur's Seat.
I can assure you that this is definitely worth the hike and you are sure to have fun on the way up.
3.) View from the castle - Lisbon, Portugal
This picture was taken from Castelo St Jorge and perfectly displays the beauty of Lisbon through the historic castle arch.
4.) Sunrises in Iceland - Rejykavik, Iceland
This picture makes me happy every time that I see it and reminds me of what a magical place Iceland is. This was taken at 10:30am in the morning as the late, morning sun was rising over the snowy fields.
5.) Monaco harbour - Monte-Carlo, Monaco
Exploring the second smallest country comes with its perks and seeing the incredible Monte-Carlo harbour is definitely one of them!
6.) Birkenau Gates - Kraków, Poland
This pictures brings up a lot of emotions. This is the outside of Birkenau concentration camp, one of the additional camps to Auschwitz.
Although it is a heart wrenching visit, I believe that everybody should visit here at some point in their life.
7.) Rasheed the camel - Marrakesh, Morocco
Rasheed was our travel companion whilst we explored the Moroccan desert. This picture was taken whilst Rasheed was having a well-deserved break.
8.) Funchal Harbour - Madeira, Portugal
This picture was taken before we did one of our favourite excursions to date - a catamaran tour in Funchal, Madeira. We were lucky enough to see dolphins on our trip and this was our trusted boat that took us on the incredible excursion.
9.) Prison Grmožur - Lake Skadar, Montenegro
Here lies the abandoned ruins of a former prison. The isolate location was purposely created to home some of the most dangerous criminals who could not swim. Being surrounded by water kept the number of outbreaks to a minimum (although there were still a few)!
10.) St Jeromes Church - Split, Croatia
This stunning church is located at the top of a popular hike in Split and the desolate location makes the beautiful architecture stand out even more.
