The gardens are of a large scale and takes approximately a couple of hours to explore and fully admire everything that the gardens have to offer. During your trip to the gardens you will also be greeted by the Madeira wall lizards who have placed themselves around the gardens are extremely interesting to watch as they scurry through the plants and hide within the many rocks that surround the garden.
