When planning a trip to travel the beautiful countries of Europe, Luxembourg is often overlooked due to the Country being of a petite size. Many people assume that Luxembourg is not worth the travel due to the lack of activities within the country. However, in my opinion, Luxembourg is one of the most beautiful and interesting countries that I have had the pleasure to visit.
The country is perfect for those who enjoy walking however, please be advised that Luxembourg is an extremely hilly country (according to my Fitbit, I climbed 82 flights of stairs in one day!) therefore, people who struggle with walking may find Luxembourg a frustrating city to visit.
As we walked into the city centre of Luxembourg, I immediately noticed the difference in the house structures. Each house is unique to the one that's next to it, with it being extremely likely to come across a beautiful, quaint and traditionally decorated cottage and then in the next ten steps, finding yourself outside an incredible, modern block of apartments with a terrestrial style decor. This is the first country that I have visited where every step I took, I found myself in awe of the beautifully unique homes and ornaments that surround the city centre.

I would highly recommend a trip to Luxembourg however, due to the majority of sites being able to be seen within a day, I would advise a short weekend trip. You will not regret visiting the beautiful country of Luxembourg and seeing the unique and wonderful architecture with your own eyes.
